My Students

My students have such a great attitude and are ready to learn even through all the craziness they've experienced with schools the last few years!

I want each student to have the opportunity to focus and feel comfortable in my classroom.

My Project

These bands and cushions will make a massive difference in my students' learning. It can be so hard for kids to sit at desks for a long time. Having bouncy bands on the legs of my student's desks will really help with their focus. It allows them to move their body and fidget in a way that doesn't distract others. This is especially helpful to those students who have ADHD or are anxious and need to move their bodies to calm down. It can also help others who are short, and their feet can't reach the ground. It gives them something to rest their legs on. The cushions help make the chairs more comfortable to allow students to focus better when listening in class or when sitting on the floor for an assembly.

It's really hard for the students to be split evenly among them.

Receiving this donation will give me the perfect amount for my class. This project will help my students after the impact of the coronavirus, as many students have heightened anxiety and struggle to keep focused.
