My Project
At the end of the school year, when all of our curriculum is done, I get to perform fun experiments with my students. One of my favorites is bouncing bubbles. Have you ever seen a bubble bounce? I never thought bubbles could bounce until I did this experiment with my students. It is so amazing!
Some of the materials that we need include white cotton gloves, pipettes, and condiments cups.
The gloves are used to help the bubbles bounce since it protects the bubbles from the oil on our skin. Using the gloves, my students are able to play catch with their bubbles. We use the condiment cups to hold the bubble solution and the pipettes are the bubble wands. I use the ziplock bags to send all the supplies home so that the my class can keep playing with the bubbles. The doll pins are used to create butterflies. We draw pictures on paper towels with washable markers and then spray them with water. The paper towels dry and become the wings, while the doll pins are the body of the butterfly.
I really enjoy being able to do science experiments and projects at the end of the school year with my students.
