This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These baskets and balls can help my team more than anything out there. As anyone can imagine it is extremely hard for little people to make a shot in a normal basket. This equipment can help me introduce my team to basketball while at the same time building confidence. I can use individual cans and balls to help teach them proper shooting techniques. This is a beginner's team. This equipment can be used yearly as each year I start new teams while the other teams progress as well. Having a basketball team will be new to our school and our kids at the elementary level, but will be well worth it as we start to play other elementary schools.
