My Students

My students come from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures with over 63% of our students receiving free lunch. Even with such a high percentage of students receiving free and reduced lunch, we still do not qualify for Title I funding, so we need to find resources elsewhere. I tell my students every day that they can do anything that they put their mind to and they deserve the opportunity to show the world what they can do.

My students are curious, active, talented, kind, creative, and destined for greatness given the right tools.

My students love learning and are always asking questions to feed their curious minds. They love to be active and stay focused when given the opportunity to learn in an interactive way.

My Project

My students will be able to learn the basics of coding with these amazing Botley coding kits! We recently gained a STEM lab at our school for grades 2-5 and our students LOVE learning about coding.

The Botley kits will enable students to bring their coding to life!

Botley also has additional hidden features to unlock! Students will get to learn early STEM skills while playing and having fun. Botley teaches the basics of coding through active play, completely screen free. Perfect for promoting critical thinking and problem solving skills!Here are just some of the interactive, fun features Botley offers:

• Detect objects - and moves around them!

• Follow looping commands

• Navigate obstacle courses and more!
