Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Lower-income Hispanic students make up 85% of our school. Many live in multi-family homes where extended families share a house. We are in the highest bracket for free and reduced-price lunch. Our school athletes continue to strive to better their progress in our baseball program throughout any diversity.

Our athletes are resilient as well as enthusiastic to start this new season.

They keep a positive attitude no matter any obstacle that comes their way.

My Project

The PHS baseball team is in need of numerous health tools that promote recovery, before and after intense practices and games. One of those tools are the compression boots made for recovery.

This tool has been proven to promote positive health benefits in our athletes after a game or practice.

The recovery process is a long one after a pitcher throws 100 + pitches or an athlete has a tournament and plays 3 to 4 games in a two day period.

Our athletes deserve a way to better their fitness in the sport they love and these compression boots do exactly that.
