This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students in this classroom have to work extra hard to make the right choice in everyday situations. They are heavily externally motivated and love working for incentives. Unfortunately, to be able to continuously provide incentives, it takes a lot of money. The students in my program also work towards earning their preferred activities and having activities that they enjoy that are not screen based is something we strive for. My students also benefit from having sensory toys that are quiet for them to use to try to stay focused without disrupting others in their classes.
