Boost Reading Fluency and Comprehension with CDs

Help me give my students the ability to listen to audio recordings of texts on CDs in our reading fluency/comprehension program.

My Project

I work with students who have significant challenges academically. My district purchased the Read Naturally program for my class, at my request. This program is proven to help build fluency, comprehension, and confidence in reading. The passages are highly engaging with a history or science focus. I have used this program many times in the past, and really appreciate what it does for my students.

Unfortunately, I could not afford the version of this program which has digital files online.

Instead, we have CDs. A bit old school, because our computers do not have CD players on them. So I want to get a few CD players to create a listening station for Read Naturally. Students need to practice their assigned passage multiple times during the week to increase their fluency and comprehension of the text. Having these CD players will make a difference in the reading achievement of my students this year, and many years to come!
