My Students

My self-contained Special Day Class is full of joy and learning each and every day! We are the only primary SDC class in our large district with most of my students receiving free/reduced lunch. The students are proud to share their work and enjoy coming to school. We all come with a variety of sensory needs that makes us all unique. We do best with movement breaks and and having a chance to keep our bodies moving. I'm a fifth year teacher and enjoying finding new things and materials to keep my students engaged.

My Project

Students will love these easy to use Boom Cards that are digital and engaging! These cards are easy for the youngest student to follow and complete and are colorful and creative and make learning fun!

These cards will support my students learning and also provide feedback and allow me to collect data for each students IEP goals.

These Boom Cards are easily integrated into Google Classroom the platform we are using for distant learning, these cards can be used over and over and are not limited to this school year! I can use these year after year with my current and future students
