The library now has an inviting alphabet rug where students can gather to read, and all of the books have been carefully sorted by reading level and subject into colorful, easy-to-browse bins. I hope this organization encourages students to explore new books and helps them develop a love of reading from the very beginning of the school year.\r\n\r\nOur play corner has also been transformed with a fun and engaging kitchen, a dollhouse, and new play figures. I can't wait to see the children's faces when they discover the new toy storage filled with exciting activities, including dinosaurs, a wooden train set, Magna-Tiles, and blocks. Each toy has its own bin, making it easy for students to choose what they'd like to play with and carry the materials to different areas of the classroom.\r\n\r\nWe also have brand-new, comfortable headphones for computer time, ensuring that every student has their own set to use during technology activities. This will help students stay focused while using our learning programs and make computer time more enjoyable.\r\n\r\nI am so excited to welcome my new class of kindergarteners in a few weeks. Thanks to your generosity, they will be walking into a classroom that is warm, organized, inviting, and filled with opportunities to learn, play, and grow.
