Bookworms Need Biography Books

Help me give my students engaging Who Was...? biography books to help encourage non-fiction reading.

My Students

My students are imaginative and creative. They work hard and take pride in their education. Their families work hard to provide what they need to succeed and get the most out of their time at school.

My passion is to encourage and empower all of my students to reach their greatest potential.

My students always deserve to get the best out of their educational experience. I strive to provide lessons, activities, and the environment to help them grow to their greatest potential.

My Project

Some of the most memorable books that I read or was read to as a child were biographies. Learning about real people helped me to connect to the world, and I'd love to bring some of these stories to my classroom library. As an ELA teacher, I encourage students to read both fiction and non-fiction books, as well as a variety of genres.

The Who Was...? biography book set will help expand the variety of non-fiction books available for my readers.

Not only will these engaging books motivate my students to read more non-fiction, but they'll also be valuable resources when we do research on historical individuals. Thank you for considering my project.
