Bookworms Inching Through Second Grade

My Project

Reading takes us on adventures whether we are just learning to read or if we've been reading for a while. Reading is a journey that we are all embarking.

One of the best and most important ways to instill a love for reading is by providing a large variety of fun and interesting books in the classroom.

By contributing these books to our library for read-alouds, reading independently, and for students to do picture walks will be greatly appreciated.

My students are little bookworms and have a large variety of interests when it comes to reading and they have inched through all of my classroom books and are in need of more. While some of my students enjoy magical tales like (Isadora Moon) or funny, realistic stories such as Junie B. Jones, others enjoy Elephant and Piggie books and especially nonfiction books.

These books will allow me to provide a wide range of books for them to explore and go on their own adventures with stories they love and enjoy.
