My Students

Hola! My students are american kids immerse in an Spanish program at a public school. Most of them have been in the program since kindergarten and the rest joined in first grade. They are working on begin fully bilingual and expanding their knowledge as much as possible.

My kids are avid readers that love knowing the world and its cultures through books and articles!

We push each other to be better everyday, we work in becoming eager life learners, supportive friends and all around great human beings. I usually find myself wondering if I am the teacher or the learner, because they have so much to teach and show the world!

My Project

My kids are 28 eager readers. They love fiction and non-fiction texts and because they read so much, they are writing amazing pieces that we will publish in January. But we have got to a point where daily basis vocabulary is not enough to understand the big words they are encountering in their books or the ones they want to use in their writing activities.

We need the Spanish dictionaries for them to be able to wide their vocabulary and to help them understand some of the new words in the more complex books we are taking on.

Especially in all the informational texts we are reviewing to learn more about the world around us!
