I love my students! I started teaching computers to Kindergarten through 6th grade in February 2023. So this fall will be my first full year teaching computers. As wonderful as learning to use technology is, I want to also teach them to have balance with time online and offline while they can still learn about technology. I feel it is so important to teach kids the importance of balance in our online and offline lives.
I would love to have books and games related to technology in my classroom!
The books will be used either at the beginning or end of class for the lower grades. The games will be used as "early finisher" activities. Sometimes the kids need something to do when they finish a lesson early and I would like to have something that they can still learn about technology but be "unplugged".
The mini erasers are so popular with the kids these days! They are a great incentive in achieving keyboarding goals!
