Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a teacher, I am always collecting books that I can share with my class. These books will add to our classroom library and encourage students to read about something that interests them. Students will be able to use their imagination while reading and learning.
Books bring people together and create a classroom community.
I love to read aloud to my students. These books will teach students, make them laugh, discuss connections to their own experiences and much more. Read alouds are my favorite time of the day. I am able to show students that books are fun and exciting as well as educational.
