My Project

My students have become like family, and over time, I’ve learned what truly interests and motivates them. One thing I love most is how much they trust me to recommend books—they know I’ll help them find stories they’ll enjoy. Even as 5th graders, they still look forward to our daily read-alouds, which is such a special part of our classroom community.

Right now, our classroom library is limited, and fresh, updated books would reignite their excitement for reading.

These books will also support academic goals, as students take tests on them to track comprehension and meet word count targets.
