Help me give my students a new set of Folger's Romeo & Juliet books, a charging station to help keep phones away and off their minds, and some updates to our independent reading library.

My Project

After 14 years of teaching Romeo and Juliet, I would love to receive 30 brand new copies of the Folger's Shakespeare Library version of the play. It is by far the best teaching version, and I would be thrilled to have a class at to use this year.

I've also included some much-needed updates to our classroom library, specifically some titles with LGBTQ themes.

It's important to me to have the novels I offer my students act as both windows into other lives and experiences, and mirrors where they can see themselves reflected. Finally, I have some much needed updates to my classroom, including a cell phone charging station to help encourage students to leave their phones during class time, some curtains to hide my open closets, and some posters to brighten up the space.
