My Project

Books That See Us transforms our library into a student-centered hub where every reader finds connection, inspiration, and growth. With 85% of our current collection aged, our high schoolers need contemporary stories that reflect their diverse identities, spark curiosity, and fuel a genuine love for reading. Grounded in the core framework to See Me, Challenge Me, and Engage Me, this project revitalizes our shelves with high-interest, inclusive titles. By pairing relatable stories with fresh perspectives, we ensure every student walks in and discovers a book that truly speaks to them.
