My Students

I have amazing students here at D. Mac.A! I love them all so much for so many different reasons! Often, students come to see me and check in and even take a break in a safe place at school. This allows me to build relationships with so many of the students which is what keeps me going every day! :)

Everything I do is for the children: Every chance, Every day, Every child!

The students bring me joy and work so hard at all they do. They want to be successful no matter what and I work to try and help them achieve these goals they set for themselves. I want them to always know they can do it! That they are special! That they are unique! That they have amazing futures ahead of them! They are everything!

My Project

Students come to my office to sit, talk, reflect, take a break, etc. and I want to update the books I have that they look through so that the books they see are reflective of the diversity of the students who may be using them. Some of the best things are when we sit and read a book that helps them through a tough time and these are the books that I want to add my library.

I want them to see the world as they know it, see themselves as part of the world, know that they are cared for and special in all they do, and that we love them for who they are!
