Students come to my office to sit, talk, reflect, take a break, etc. and I want to update the books I have that they look through so that the books they see are reflective of the diversity of the students who may be using them. Some of the best things are when we sit and read a book that helps them through a tough time and these are the books that I want to add my library. I want them to see the world as they know it, see themselves as part of the world, know that they are cared for and special in all they do, and that we love them for who they are!
