My Students

My students come from a diverse set of households. They are ethnically and culturally different from one another and this becomes a real strength in our classroom.

They love school!

After going through two years of the pandemic my students have shown a renewed appreciation for the stability and inclusion that school provides. They come every day ready to learn with inquisitive and curious minds.

My Project

These books will help my students reach their goal of reading 30 books this year! 5th grade is an important year for students to continue to expand their reading horizons. In an effort to do this, I asked my fifth graders to set the goal of reading 30 books before June. Many of these titles are stories from series that my students are choosing from the library and have proven to be extremely popular amongst them and their peers. I am excited to get these books in their hands. Your donation is one that will be appreciated for years to come!
