My Project

The books from this project will be great additions to our classroom library!

Children need access to great books to foster enthusiasm, enjoyment, and love for reading-- our "Books Galore" project will add over 50 funny, engaging, and exciting books for our first graders to read on their own and for our read-alouds--all to nurture their reading growth.

After lunch, we have an independent reading time, and students are building their stamina to read, and these books will provide them with a great selection of books! We also have an after-lunch read-aloud, and it is so much fun to see excitement and interest as I read books to our students! It's even more exciting to see students choose the books that I've read to read on their own!
