This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love to read and are always searching for books that are not only interesting but also represent themselves. Our classroom library is in major need of new and accessible books that will catch the eyes of readers of every background.

Being able to access self-representation books that each student can read, within our classroom will not only support their love of reading but will also encourage them to aspire to the next level if it's within their grasp!

With your help, students will see real-life examples of how reading can be eye-catching, current, and fun! Please help us to become more voracious readers!
