Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is having a Math Night. All students who come to Math Night will get to choose a book of their very own from the book vending machine.

Students in my school have very few books at home.

They need books in their hands to increase their literacy and math skills. The Math Start Stories, Chicka Chicka, Icky Bug, Mouse Count, and How Many are well-loved stories that students will enjoy. Math Allergy, Math Shapes, Pattern Breakers, Trying to Love Math, Money Plan, Math Strategies, I Know Numbers, Math in Winter, and money books will draw in even the reluctant readers. Students will learn to count, identify numbers, fractions, estimating, sorting, patterns, and much more!

Please help get books into the homes of students!
