Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school is having a Math Night. All students who come to Math Night will get to choose a book of their very own from the book vending machine.

Students in my school have very few books at home.

They need books in their hands to increase their literacy and math skills. The Math Start Stories, Teddy Bear math books, Mouse Count, and A Place for Zero are well-loved stories that students will enjoy. Fish Eyes, Math Contest, Monster Math, Bear Counts, Same/Different, Graph Contest, Orange Slices Money Plan, Math Allergy, 100 Bugs, Monster Math, and money books will draw in even the reluctant readers. Students will learn to count, identify numbers, fractions, estimating, sorting, patterns, and much more!

Please help get books into the homes of students!
