Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need more books for their class library. The goal of this project is to procure books and gamebooks for my class. I remember playing these type of gamebooks when I was a kid, I spent hours choosing different storylines and outcomes for the characters I created. Now my students can do the same. Not only will they increase their reading comprehension but they will also test their critical thinking skills through interactive reading and gameplay. Math, reading, and gameplay, a winning combination!

Nothing beats having a real, physical book in your hands, sitting on a beanbag and wandering off to some faraway land during silent reading, in fact, it's one of my fondest elementary school memories.

I have chosen books based on interactive fiction and also books that will enhance the creativity of my already curious students.
