Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello! I am a first grade teacher who loves coming to work everyday to help my children grow everyday. My school is in a high-need community. Most of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are at different reading levels. Although we have some books but most of the books are not at the level of my children's reading capability. I have mastered my goal for my children to love reading. At this moment I am having a difficult time finding books for every child to be able to read them. I find that at times some children are getting bored or frustrated because the reading levels are not appropriate for them.

Lakeshore has a wonderful leveled library with a storage cart that would be a great for my children. With this wonderful leveled library my students would be able to choose reading books that are at their level. This would enhance my students reading and most of all this would bring love to reading again.

With your generous donation my students will be able to choose books that are at their level. I try my best to give my students all that I have but at this moment I do need some help. Please help me help my students; be our hero! Thank you!
