My Students

Everyone knows how important it is for students to have access to quality books; my students don't.

I teach reading at a high-need California charter school.

My sixth grade students are developing into avid readers before my eyes. Many are reading a book a day and dramatically improving their reading in the process. The only problem is that we're running out of books to read.

My Project

Your donation will expand our classroom library by over 50 books; helping to purchase books that my students will read every day. The books include A to Z Mysteries, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and Wonder. I'm working hard to transform non-readers into lifelong readers and these books will help make it possible.

Your gift will ensure that these students have access to quality books; critical to their continual growth as readers.
