My Project

Many of my students are learning to read or are early readers. I am a special education teacher for students in fourth grade. I work with students with disabilities including dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Emotional Disabilities. They have all developed a desire to read and have made so much progress!

I want to encourage my students’ love of reading so they can gain confidence and feel successful while reading these decodable texts.

Some of my students are learning short vowel sounds, while others are studying more complex vowel patterns. The Dog on a Log series is a huge hit with my students and I need more to satisfy everyone’s choice of books.
