I teach a wonderful group of first graders and one of the most special parts of teaching first grade is helping my students develop into readers. My students are eager to learn and practice their reading, but they need books that are just right for their reading levels.
A variety of leveled reading books will ensure that there are books in our classroom that every student can access and enjoy!
I will use these books to teach small groups of students, and kids will also use them to practice reading independently.
I know adding these books to our classroom will help my first graders foster a love of reading, while improving their beginning reading skills.
