This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students want to learn to read but don't have any books at home. They need your help to support to practice their reading each night.

I am a reading specialist and I love inspiring my students to read and learn.

My students want to learn, but often lack the materials they need to succeed. These wonderful students come from a variety of cultures and languages. They just need some extra support to learn to read.

My Project

These books would provide my students with the much needed books for at home reading. Most of my students do not have books in their home. Therefore, I like to send books home each night with my students. My students are always looking for new books to read and fall in love with reading.

Research shows that the more a child reads, the more words they learn, and they develop better thinking skills.

My students deserve the opportunity to have books each night to help them become successful readers and learners.
