My Students

Do you remember going out early morning and doing chores on the farm? Students at our high school are doing the same and recently began their first FFA chapter.

These new agriculture students are eager to dive into the vast diversity of the agriculture industry.

They are ready to open their minds up and learn present and past agricultural practices. Students will be able to see how others view the animal industry and will have their thoughts challenged!

My Project

The materials I am requesting will allow students to read up on consumers perception on animal agriculture. I believe that these students can and will benefit from reading a controversial agriculture industry book.

Their views will be challenged and they will have to look at consumers views on animal agriculture from a much different perspective.

I believe that in order for us to close the gap between producers and consumers, the students/producers need to see what consumers actually believe/think about the industry.

Since we are brand new agriculture program we have nothing... A neighboring FFA Chapter donated old textbooks, which helps tremendously. However, I want my students to be able to read an actual book in class. Not a textbook, an actual reading book!
