Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I'm very excited to be returning to my position in kindergarten. These students deserve the best, and that's what I'm aiming to give them! I will have about twenty of the sweetest kindergartners, and we are going to do lots of learning.

I hope to foster a love for learning with these students that will go with them the rest of their lives.

Some of the students come from our Pre K program, some have never been to school before. Regardless, they deserve the best learning experience possible.

My Project

The book/CD collections will enhance the listening center in the classroom. students will be able to follow text as they listen to the story being read. Having the audio books create a fun-filled learning centers for my kindergarten class.

Students love books that come alive in listening, or in studying the purpose of author and illustrator!

The author collections will help the students understand what author and illustrators do to create books. Considering the age of my students, this project will enhance or even ignite a passion for someone to become an author or illustrator. Books are powerful and we should expose children early as possible.
