My Students

All of my students are new, because we are at a brand new school. Being part of a new school seems easy, but there are little things that we still need before this amazing learning environment is truly complete. My students are excited to be in the classroom after struggling through virtual learning. They enjoy participating in class discussions, and sharing their knowledge with others. Giving my students new books will help them learn and grow as they read. Every student should have a positive outlook on their education.

My Project

By getting these incredibly interesting books in our classroom, it will help my students become engaged readers. Not only are students receiving new books to read and explore, they are also getting the wonderful gift of literacy. Books like, "What Is the Constitution?," "Who was Kobe Bryant?," "Absolute Expert: Volcanoes," and "What was the Titanic?," will help students develop a love for science and social studies while reading these interesting texts. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians 5 Book Paperback Boxed Set will interest students who love reading about mythology. Once students begin to enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction books, their academic confidence will grow exponentially.

These books will hopefully help many students learn to love to read.

The books I am asking for will positively impact each child's reading fluency and proficiency. I believe, with new books in our classroom, help student find reading more valuable they playing video games. New classroom books would allow more opportunities for my students to be engaged in reading. The more I can get a book in their hands, the more I can ensure they will become life long readers. My students need to have every opportunity to be engaged in reading. Thank you in advance for supporting my project.
