My Project

I would love help creating a new reading area in my classroom. I just recently received funding for a beautiful new carpet for my classroom and like to form my classroom library around my carpet. The other day I was looking at how I display my books and what options I am able to offer my students, and I thought, "I can do better."

Encouraging children to read and become readers is one of my major goals as a kindergarten teacher, and I need to present books in a pleasing, fun way to attract my students attention.

Adding a few new display areas, new books, and a plush book character will be a great start to my goal of sprucing up my reading area.
