Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach inner city students who are very excited to learn.

Life is very challenging for my students and their families due to poverty and language limitations.

All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school daily. Our school operates on a limited budget and funding is scarce!

All of my students deserve to have new and beautiful materials. They are eager to learn new concepts and my class will greatly benefit from any materials they are given.

My Project

We are in need of a stellar classroom library. My students are fired up about reading and they have taken interest in a variety of genre of books. Literacy skills are a foundation to every subject across the curriculum.

Books help students find connections.

Please help our classroom grow our classroom library to meet student's interest and ability. Having a larger classroom library will provide students with the opportunity to read books within their interests.We would love to have a stocked classroom library readily available to all.

My students are showing the love of reading and having more books in our leveled library will give them greater access to practice and reading.
