My Students

My students walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want my students to feel successful and enjoy what they are learning in the classroom.

My students are 21st-century learners and constantly exploring and collaborating in and outside of the classroom.

My students are hard-working​, enthusiastic, and always curious to learn more. I love that every day they give their best effort and want to make the world a better place!

My Project

My students love to pick books from the authors that were chosen in my wish list. Students in my class love the Dogman series! That is a top pick for most in the class. My girls love to read Dork Diaries, on the other hand, my boys love to read Diary of a Wimpy Kid. With these series, I hope to encourage students to continue picking up books from the same author.

The key to becoming good readers is to fall in love with a good book.

Without high-interest books,​ my students will not be engaged during their independent reading.
