My Students

I teach in a public school in Queens in an Integrated Co-Teaching classroom. Our third grade students are hard working, creative, respectful, enthusiastic learners. Kindness and compassion is what we're all about! There is a buzz about books and an excitement for learning in our classroom and school.

Each day, when our students enter the classroom they know they are in a safe place where they could share and explore.

We incorporate a variety of learning strategies and continuous group work to ensure that each student's needs are met.

My Project

Our classroom library could really use some help! Digging into a good book is fun and all, but when the pages are falling apart, it makes it a little hard!

Our students are avid readers who need new books to explore and discuss!

Our classroom is all about group work and guided reading, and adding these book to our collection would be extremely special and helpful to our third grade students. This multilevel library is perfect for our integrated classroom.

These books will enhance our library. Students will be able to choose their own books, which will help them continue to foster a love of reading. Our students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own level and according to their own interests. The best way to increase reading ability is to read, read, read...These books will help our students become stronger, well rounded readers!
