My Project

My students love to read. We devote a lot of time to books in my classroom and we have completely revamped our library from the beginning of the year. I loop with my students and need some new high interest books to add to my library. My students have really gotten into Rick Riordan and I want to introduce them to the "Rick Riordan presents..." books because they feature lots of different people from all over the world. As a teacher, I feel it's really important to introduce my students to all different points of views from people and characters all over the world.

I want my students to see themselves in the books that they read and experience others' stories too.

I also really want my students to continue their love of reading and by updating my library, I will continue to do just that! I will be scouring and hunting for new books all summer, but these are some highly requested ones!
