My Students

I am teaching kindergarten in an underprivileged school in Georgia. This is my second year teaching kindergarten and I love seeing their bright, smiling faces every morning when they walk into my classroom.

I want to make sure that I have my classroom equipped with the necessary resources to meet all of my students needs in reading.

Most of the families in my school do not have the appropriate funds to provide supplies for their children or help to provide resources for our classroom. I want to make sure that my students have the proper reading supplies to succeed in my classroom.

My students are always eager to learn and do the best that they can even if we do not have the resources.

That is why I need your help!

My Project

For my project, I want to make sure that I have my classroom equipped with the necessary reading resources to meet all of the needs of the students. I am teaching the students who some have not been in the classroom for 2 years due to COVID so, they are really behind. I want to provide them with books on their level or above to get them to the necessary reading level they need to be at to be promoted to first grade.

My students are always eager to learn and do the best that they can even if we do not have the resources in our classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
