My Project

My kindergarteners LOVE exploring and spending time in our classroom library. They also always look forward to when we all sit together and I read to them. During the winter months, we have been focusing more on the different types of winter animals and their habitats.

These books will allow my students to expand their thinking on the variety of animals and where they live.

We have been studying a different animal each week and my students have noticed that we do not have many tangible books about these animals.

This project will not only put more books into my students hands, but they will also be comparing and contrasting the different animals, learning extensively about where they live and why, and exploring options for building their own habitats.
