My Students

I have a classroom full of young Kindergarten students who are active, ready, and eager to learn! Being so young, many of them are in their first months of learning in a school! Keeping my students engaged and interested in what I am teaching is so important to me. Young children get bored easily, have short attention spans, and have VERY busy bodies. Coming up with fun, engaging and different lessons is crucial in my classroom. Many of my students don't have access to learning materials at home, so I like to have things here for them to explore and learn.

My Project

I believe that young children need good books to be able to read and use their imagination to get through. As a first-year teacher, I would like to give my students the ability to sit in class with a good book and let their minds explore! Having a variety of books in my classroom is important so that my students can always have the option of finding something that they like and are interested in. I would love to provide more books for my students to read on a daily basis.

These books will allow me to read them a new read-aloud every day before they go home!

These books will also give them the ability to use their imagination when reading a book silently. I would love to see my students be able to use more books to expand their learning!
