My Students

I teach many English language learners who are anxious to succeed and learn something new each day! We have a dedicated staff of teachers at our school who bring their best to the class, and to each and every lesson they teach.

Some of my students come from homes that do not have the technology, such as home computers or even basic Internet access.

I teach at a Title I school where roughly half of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. They are working their hardest to try to learn as much as they can and to develop good study skills.

My Project

My students love to check out books from our classroom library. However, we need a better system to check them back in.

Our student librarians, in particular, could really benefit from a rolling cart to use as a check in bin for our classroom library!

We have classroom jobs and our librarians takes their jobs very seriously. Normally they just helps organize the books on the shelves but I would love to help them have the tools to check books in, too!

This rolling cart would enable us to have a place to both check out and check in books. Each of the lower bins could be labeled with the vinyl to be return bins. The lid would allow us to have our check out iPad on the top of the cart for students to use.

Books are life to us! Please help us make the most effective use of our class library with this cart! Thank you!
