Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I have an array of readers who enjoy having new reading material on the shelves. My students love to snuggle up in our reading corner after completing classwork.

This project will help our class library grow and give my students easier access to material they love.

This project consists of fiction books for boys and girls. Some of the material will be used for group book reports and literacy circles that will help them make deeper connections to other books, society, and even themselves. Not only will we use these books in class, but some of the students will use them for a good read at recess time
