Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are constantly requesting new and updated books for the classroom and I am hoping to update my classroom library (per their request).
These are a some of the titles that my students have specifically requested, as well as titles from some of the Top YA Literature recently published.
We are also requesting new Bananagrams and Scrabble games! These word "games" are in constant rotation to promote positive peer interaction, and higher level vocabulary usage in our classroom.
Lastly, a highly sought after incentive for my students, and the entire school community is for stickers. These will be used to to replenish our collection available at the "Little Free Library" that we run outside our classroom door.
