My Students
I share my class with a co-teacher. We strive to help our students grow and smile every day. Our students are thriving being back to school in-person. They are thrilled to laugh, play, and learn together in fun, safe learning environment.
The kids walk into our classroom every morning with eager smiles, and an excitement to learn.
They especially love playing on the playground, books by David Shannon, and using their laptop computers.
My Project
My students absolutely adore all of the "David" books by David Shannon. When they head to the library, they almost always go directly to the David books. The kids think they are the funniest! My current David books are torn and have pages missing, because they have been enjoyed by students before them. We desperately need an upgrade to our David Shannon book box.
This probably comes as no big surprise, but another highlight of the kids' school day is recess!
Because of social distancing, our class is spending a lot more time on the blacktop, so we need some fun equipment to enhance our playing. Jump ropes, bouncy balls, velcro mitts, and skip it toys will help students stay physical and excited about their recess time.
