Books About Children With Visual Impairments

Help me give my students give my students access to books which are filled with characters who are also visually impaired!

My Project

I am asking for books filled with characters who are visually impaired.

Oftentimes my students are the only one in their school who are blind or visually impaired.

I want to bring them books to show them they are not alone! I would also be sharing these books with their classroom teachers to help the students in their class learn more about what it means to have a visual impairment, use a White Cane to navigate, and use assistive technology to help learning happen! My hope with these books is that my students will see themselves represented in literature.
