This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We have a very diverse and talented student body that thrives when they participate in the arts.

We help our students become leaders through a well-rounded education that includes the arts.

Our students show pride when they perform for their families and each other.

My Project

This vending machine will be used in conjunction with our school's Leader in Me program to empower our students to become the best leader they can be. The vending machine will provide students an opportunity to earn books when they demonstrate the 7 Habits on campus.

It will allow students to choose books that are of interest to them in order to help them take ownership of their learning.

The books that will fill the machine will help students build their reading and comprehension skills and help foster a love of reading. The innovative method in which they will be able to obtain their book will keep them motivated.
