My Project

Having classroom sets of high-interest books will enable each student to have a book to choose from and enjoy. These are book titles that my students picked and are excited to read, so let's get them in their hands! These books will be used for many years to come and help numerous students continue to develop and maintain their love of reading! "Wimpy Kid", "Holes", "Matilda", and "Dogman" are all high-interest books and that's what my students need to foster their love of reading. Reading books that they have chosen eliminates the need for buy-in and lets them get straight to reading with a chair to sit and read as a whole group. Sometimes hunger is a barrier, so having a book and fruits snacks is always a good idea!
