My Project

My project will provide students with various books according to their interests and reading abilities. The book nook will be a calm and inviting space for students to relax and leisurely enjoy reading. Students can go to the book nook in their free time and during station time to help promote literacy. With Covid hitting our classrooms in the last couple of years, getting students up to their reading ability has been a challenge. With this book now, I am hoping that students will have an increased interest in reading, helping them with phonics, oral reading fluency, vocabulary development, and comprehension of various genres.
