Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Magic Tree House box set of books 1-28 will help inspire students to love reading and stay engaged.

Many second graders are especially drawn to the adventure and imagination found in the Magic Tree House series, which keeps them excited to turn each page.

These stories not only capture their interest but also help build essential reading skills such as comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency. I plan to read each book aloud to the class, while also encouraging students to explore the series independently on their own. This set will encourage a lifelong love of reading.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
